Bleach - The movie!

My husband and I are BIG fans of the show Bleach! We were so into it, we had seen only 1 episode on Cartoon network, and next thing you know, were at the mall buying the first 2 seasons! The full length movie will be in theaters June 11th and June 12th. We're soo excited to see it!

Bleach the Movie

I always wanted to have a cool Japanese name! Granted, I don't speak any Japanese at all, but I figure since we watch so much Anime- I get to claim one for myself! My Japanese name would be:

Akira Chou

I don't know if thats right, but it means: Bright Butterfly. I think it's supposed to be backwards like how they have it in spanish. In any case, I took the words from 2 different Japanese made items I totally love! "Akira" is from the movie Akira, an intense movie of mental powers, friendships and love. It's also pretty gruesome, but well worth it!

"Chou" is derived from the video game: Fatal Frame: Crimson Butterfly. It was based on 2 Japanese twin girls, present characters and past characters. A town that forced the youngest twin to sacrifice their beloved twin by strangling them to death. It somehow 'appeased' the void which lay beneath their town. It was released in 2003 for the PS2 and has been my favorite horror game ever since!

Can you tell we're big anime fans now?! Getting to see Bleach in theaters will be the icing on the cake! I hope you enjoy it!
